film Lesson; "Mountains of The Moon"

In the movie "Mountain of the moon" Richard Burtun and John Speke were two European explorers looking for the source of the nile river. On their journey they had many problems. They meet africans that had never seen white people before so some gave the European explores a hard time. They faced death not only from african tribes but from such things as malaria, yellow fever, dirty water, and lack of food. The reason why it strange that the source of the nile river was named after a white british queen because the source of nile river is in a african colony not in british it should be named after the one that founded it. The source of the nile river which is now named Victoria is the 3rd most largest lake in the world. The advantage that the European explorers had was that they had guns back then it was the most dangerous weapon now it like so so. So that help the European conquer the africans because the only thing the africans had were spears and the Europeans had guns.

Nationalism

Nationalism means not just to respect and have loyalty to a king and a empire but to have respect and loyalty to a whole nation who shares the same culture and history. Am a nationalistic myself to I care, respect, and have loyalty to the people around me because they share and have some of the same history I share with others. That shows am nationalistic because as others I grow up in the United States and with all respect i love being here and share my culture with others that wanna learn my culture which is the Mexican culture.
